1. Who we are and what this Policy covers
Pulsar Digital LLC ("Pulsar," "we," "us," or "our") is a United States business based in Charlotte, North Carolina, operating as Pulsar CLT and Pulsar Digital. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with MyInn — our multi-tenant hospitality property-management platform — and the MyInn marketing website at myinn.app (together, the "Services").
MyInn is also covered by Pulsar's broader Master Privacy Policy. Where this page describes a MyInn-specific practice, it controls for MyInn. Identifying a category here does not mean every feature is enabled for every customer.
2. When Pulsar acts for itself and when it acts for a customer
Information we control
We determine how information is used for our own purposes, including answering demo and quote enquiries on this website, managing customer relationships, preventing abuse, securing the Services, and meeting legal obligations. Website lead forms, support correspondence with Pulsar, billing contacts for subscription accounts, and operational logs we create for platform security fall in this category.
Information controlled by hospitality customers
A hotelier or property group may use MyInn to manage guests, reservations, properties, rooms, payments references, housekeeping, vendors, messaging, and related operational records. For this "Customer Content," Pulsar generally acts as a processor or service provider on the customer's instructions. The hospitality business decides why guest and stay data is collected and how long it should remain.
For a request about another organization's guest or staff records, contacting that organization is usually fastest. You may also email support@pulsarclt.com. We do not use Customer Content handled solely for a customer as our own marketing list.
3. Information we handle and where it comes from
Depending on how you use MyInn, relevant categories may include:
- Contact and account information: name, email, telephone number, business name, role, authentication and session data.
- Commercial information: subscriptions, invoices, payment status, entitlements, and refunds for the MyInn service itself.
- Hospitality records (Customer Content): guest contact details, reservation and stay information, property and room records, special requests, notes, housekeeping status, vendor relationships, gift-card and campaign data, and billing or transaction references for enabled payment features.
- Integration information: channel/OTA connection metadata, mapping identifiers, webhook events, smart-lock device mappings and access codes generated for stays, and pricing-engine configuration (including optional PriceLabs credentials stored encrypted).
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser or device characteristics, timestamps, pages or features used, security events, errors, and performance data.
- Communications: demo requests, quote estimates, support messages, and material you submit through forms (including ALTCHA proof-of-work tokens used to reduce abuse).
We receive information from you, authorized customer users, devices when a feature is used, connected OTAs and payment providers, lock hardware partners, and public business sources when relevant to a sales enquiry.
4. How and why we use information
We use relevant information to provide and improve MyInn; administer accounts and permissions; process marketing-site leads and demos; maintain authorized workflows; diagnose faults; secure the platform; communicate about the Services; and comply with law.
We do not treat unrestricted production Customer Content as ordinary development or demonstration data. Support and testing access requires an appropriate purpose, authorization, and safeguards.
Where law requires a lawful basis, it may be performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.
5. How information is disclosed
Relevant information may be disclosed to providers supporting hosting, storage, backups, email delivery, payments, diagnostics, channel connectivity, and smart-lock integrations. A provider may process only as needed to perform its service for us or the customer.
Information may also be available to authorized users in a customer account, recipients the customer chooses, connected OTAs or payment services the customer enables, or audiences selected for a public feature such as an embeddable booking form.
We may disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary and legally permitted to investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or establish or defend claims. Information may transfer in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar corporate transaction under appropriate safeguards.
7. MyInn product-specific information
Where provided, MyInn may process operator accounts, guest contact details, reservation and stay information, property and room records, service and housekeeping requests, vendor partnership data, gift-card commerce metadata, messaging content, and billing or transaction references for enabled payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal, or Square).
Channel managers may exchange reservation, rate, and availability data with OTAs the customer connects. Smart-lock features may generate time-bound access codes tied to stay windows. Pricing integrations may sync rates according to the engine the property selects. Guests who book through a customer's embeddable engine interact primarily with that hospitality business; Pulsar processes the resulting records as Customer Content for that tenant.
8. Connected accounts, permissions, and payments
Connected-account and device access is limited to the permissions and identified integration purpose. Disconnecting ordinarily prevents new retrieval but may not delete previously imported information already stored in MyInn under the customer's account.
External payment services process payment credentials under their own terms. Pulsar and MyInn receive information relevant to administering the transaction — such as a reference, status, amount, and billing contact — not full card numbers when a gateway hosts checkout.
9. Communications and marketing
We use contact information to respond to enquiries and send relevant service communications about MyInn. Where we send marketing, we provide required notices and choices. You may use an unsubscribe mechanism in a message or email support@pulsarclt.com.
10. Sensitive information and information about other people
Do not send government identifiers, financial credentials, health information, biometric identifiers, or other sensitive information unless an identified MyInn feature specifically requests it and you are authorized to provide it (for example, a guest ID upload a property enables on its booking form).
Information about another person must be supported by appropriate authority, notice, and lawful basis. Hospitality operators are responsible for notices to their guests and staff consistent with applicable law.
11. Retention, deletion, and backups
We retain personal information no longer than necessary for its specific purpose, considering account or contract status, sensitivity, legal requirements, limitation periods, security needs, and valid backup cycles.
- Account and service information is kept while needed to provide MyInn, then closed and deleted subject to separate legal needs.
- Customer Content is retained, returned, or deleted under customer instructions, agreements, configured settings, and law.
- Purchase, billing, and tax records for the MyInn subscription are retained for applicable accounting and legal requirements.
- Support and enquiry records are retained to address the matter and manage documented disputes or operational needs.
- Security and diagnostic records are kept for periods proportionate to troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
- Backups expire under applicable backup cycles; deleted data pending expiry is restricted from ordinary use.
12. Security and incident handling
We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and processing risks, including tenant isolation controls, access limited to people and providers with an authorized purpose, and encrypted storage of selected credentials. No online service is perfectly secure; we investigate and respond to incidents as required by law and our agreements.
13. International processing
Pulsar is based in the United States. Depending on MyInn and its providers, information may be processed in the United States or another country. For restricted transfers, we use an applicable lawful mechanism where required.
14. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location, applicable law, and our role, you may have rights to confirm processing; access or obtain a portable copy; correct or delete information; restrict or object to use; withdraw consent; and opt out of certain sales or targeted advertising where those concepts apply.
Submit requests to support@pulsarclt.com and identify MyInn and what you want us to do. No special subject line is required. We may proportionately verify identity and, for Customer Content, redirect or coordinate with the hospitality customer that controls the record.
15. Additional information for US residents
State privacy laws differ in scope, definitions, exceptions, and rights. Where applicable, rights may include access, portability, correction, deletion, disclosure of categories and recipients, and opt-outs described by that law.
The MyInn marketing website does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly process MyInn marketing-site data for that purpose.
16. Additional information for the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where relevant law applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, and portability; object on applicable grounds; withdraw consent; and object to direct marketing. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority. Contacting us first often resolves the matter faster.
17. Children and younger users
MyInn business accounts and purchasing relationships are intended for people authorized to act for a hospitality business. The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the MyInn marketing site. Guests who are minors may appear in a customer's reservation records only as that customer collects them under its own notices and law.
18. External platforms and independent recipients
MyInn may link to or exchange data with independent websites, OTAs, payment services, lock vendors, app platforms, or support tools. Information you provide directly to them is governed by their policies. This Policy does not control those independent practices.
19. Complaints, changes, and contact
Complaints
Email privacy complaints to support@pulsarclt.com and identify MyInn and your concern. We acknowledge, investigate, and respond as required.
Changes
We update this Policy when Services, practices, or legal requirements change and identify the updated date. We provide legally required notice of material changes through an appropriate channel.
